SERVICES
Optimus Performance offers selective and highly effective training and development programs. Each one of our programs is customized according to the specific needs of each company. These programs are designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed for each person to become more autonomous and motivated to achieve results.
Optimus Performance also offers interventions such as personalized coaching and consulting, and specializes in implementing performance management systems according to an original approach whereby each participant becomes involved in and assumes responsibility towards expected results.

LEARN ABOUT OUR TRAINING METHODOLOGY
Our goal in training and development is to transfer directly to the workplace the new knowledge and skills participants learned in our sessions, resulting in behavioural changes and improved performance on the job.
To accomplish this we use the most effective methods known today for engaging people and opening them up to new ideas and approaches. We:
- Play games and do activities to make the training sessions highly interactive, fun and engaging. People do not want to hear a lecture and it’s one of the least effective training methods. Games are fun, create an element of friendly competition, and are a change.
- Use small breakout groups with people working in teams so they can practice teamwork. We assign a task to the team and give them a specific amount of time to complete it. The dynamics of teamwork are easily observed using this approach.
- Spend a lot of time debriefing the game or activity; discussing feelings, observations and behaviours. This is where the participants actively internalize the learning and are ready to plan how to apply it on the job.
- Employ goal-setting to have them plan and commit to applying new knowledge and skills on the job. We include a commitment to be accountable to someone for taking action on the goal. This might be their boss, a peer or a buddy that is chosen in the session.
- Make use of multi-media to supplement the training and to provide variety in how the message is delivered. This may include music, slide shows, video and PowerPoint presentations.
- Include a follow-up plan, such as scheduling future sessions with the participants, or advising internal follow-up sessions facilitated by management.
